Brooklyn Bridge, c.1983
this painting is by Andy Warhol and i chose this painting because of the colors he used to change the look of the brooklyn bridge and how he used simple colors ( red, blue, and green). this is done by the Giclee printing process and the art is produced on watercolor paper. the giclee print or process are images that are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto canvas, fine art, and photo- base paper. this provides better color accuracy which is what i liked about the painting and how it was so different than a lot of the other selections i went through.
