Kitty- Andrew Tift
This is a drawing done by Andrew Tift, it's entitled Kitty. It is done by charcoal on paper. The women in this drawing is Kitty Godley, the wife of another artist Lucian Freud. He was influenced by John Freeman's television interview "Face to Face". He wanted the drawings to look natural and as if she was in thought, and he did many different views of her. I think he captured her very realisticly. The picture in the middle's facial expression shows emotion as if she was in conversation with someone. The two on the ends looks like she is thinking or reflecting something but her attention still seems to be off to something we can't see. It is also very detailed showing every wrinkle, age spot, and wispy hair.
